Former Red wins AL MVP

Former Red Josh Hamilton won the AL MVP last week. He won by a considerable margin; 22 first place votes to Miguel Cabrera's five. Hamilton had an impressive .359 BA, 32 HRs and 100 RBIs this season.

The scariest part about all of this is that the Reds only traded him away (for Edinson Volquez) two years ago. Two years! I cannot imagine Votto and Hamilton in the field together or even at the plate back-to-back. Wow.
