I started to panic a bit last night after a throwing error by Jay Bruce that went through Cordero's legs allowed 2 runs. But Cordero got the save and the Cards lost to the Pirates. Now any combination of 4 wins or 4 losses by St. Louis will secure the pennant.
Volquez made a good case for his spot in the rotation. With Arroyo and Cueto, I'm curious to see who else will be in it.
I want the Reds to keep rolling but some guys need rest. I have faith in Dusty to make the right choices.
