Votto, Bautista win 2010 Hank Aaron Awards

It's nice to see Joey Votto getting some credit for his fantastic year. He didn't make the All-Star team the first time around, which was an absolute snub, but it's great to see him getting recognized now.

This guy made a good run at the NL Triple Crown, finishing second in the NL in batting average (.324) and third in homers (37) and RBIs (113). Votto also led the league in OPS (1.024) and deserves the NL MVP. We'll have to wait til November 22 to find out about that though.

Bud Selig put it perfectly.

"However, in the Year of the Pitcher, these two young men put together outstanding offensive seasons," Selig said.

Also, here's a great short clip of a reporter asking a dumb question and Votto being "funny"
